Bajeko Masala is Nepal’s top natural spices -- -without chemicals and preservatives -- -from the Himalayas that promotes good health and living. 

We now have 23 different varieties of packaged spices, including meat masala, curry masala, chicken curry masala, garam masala, sekuwa masala, barha masala, meat masala and chat masala. 

Bajeko Masala is founded by Nitima Karki Bhandari. She has more than 4 years of experience in food industry. She leads a young and dynamic team at Bajeko Masala. Most of her staff, including those working in her factory are female. 

We collect different herbs and spices from across Nepal, and blend it into a variety of Nepali species. We need 30-40 different herbs and spices; from cloves, turmeric, black cardamom, bay leaf, long pepper, ginger, coriander to sichuan pepper. Local farmers do the initial sorting, saving us time and resources to carry out that process in our factory. These herbs are mostly found in Nepal’s mid-hills and the plains, and some grow in cool and others in humid climates. Sichuan pepper is grown at an altitude of 12,000 feet in Nepal’s mid-hills. 

We promote female, and single mother small farmers to supply us the needed herbs. We use pesticide-free herbs, and do not use preservatives, other chemicals on our products. We test the products for pesticides and chemicals in our lab. The herbs and spices are then mixed and grinded in our factory and are packaged into final products. 

The packaged species in 11 different varieties are sold primarily in Nepal, but also in Australia, and the USA.
